Dijon, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy

Dijon is a magnificent city with it’s historic centre of town boasting many monuments and palaces.

Many of these building have multicoloured tiled roofs, witnesses of the glorious history of the city. Dijon once was the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. The district of town surrounding the Dukes Palace has conserved its medieval charm and the Museum of Contemporary Art is most definately one of the most beautiful art museums of France.

The city of Dijon is situated at 95 kilometers north from campsite Château de l’Epervière.
