Cycling in Burgundy

Not far from Castel Camping Château de l’Epervière you will find the “Voie Verte”, a former rail road transformed into a cycling path from Givry (Chalon sur Saône) to Mâcon.
This cycling path of over 70 kilometers is almost completely flat and will lead you through the typical Burgundy landscapes of vineyards and through traditional authentic villages.

The “Voie Bleue” (cycle path along the river, from Chalon sur Saône to Mâcon) is in project; the part from Tournus to Mâcon has recently been opened in 2012. The last part from Tournus up to Chalon sur Saône is scheduled to be ready for 2020.
