Fishing at Castel Camping Château de l’Epervière
The parc of Château de l’Epervière is organised around a fishing pond of 1.5 ha.
In the campsite’s pond
In this private lake (no permit needed), you are allowed to fish as much as you like. Carp, roach, tench and other species can be found in the lake, making it the perfect spot for family fishing !
In the nearby Saône river
The river Saône (at only 500 yards of the campsite, public water so permit needed) also offers great fishing for the more experienced fishermen. Enormous catfish can be caught in the Saône river (record size approx. 2.50 m !). The river Saône is also very good for carp fishing (record approx 35 kg !).
