A campsite in Burgundy with heated swimming pools

The 5-star Castel Camping Château de l’Epervière has two swimming pools, a heated outdoor pool and a small heated indoor pool of 40 m².  The outdoor swimming pool offers shaded areas with parasols and a paddling pool for the youngest guests.

The restaurant of the Castel Camping Château de l’Epervière pays tribute to Burgundy gastronomy. Behind the walls of the castle, the restaurant of our campsite awaits you to take you on a journey among the flavours of Burgundy through some specialities, such as oeufs en meurettes, Burgundy snails or the inevitable boeuf bourguignon. All, of course, accompanied by a Burgundy wine. But the journey does not stop at the borders of Burgundy. The menu offers delicious variations, based on meat or fish, as well as vegetarian dishes.

During the sunny days and pleasant evenings, we suggest that you enjoy our chef’s cuisine on the terrace in the main courtyard of the castle. Our restaurant is open from 1 April to 30 September.

During your holidays, you don’t always feel like cooking. The Castel Camping Château de l’Epervière restaurant in Burgundy offers a takeaway service. On the menu you will find our homemade pizzas, portions of chips but also the traditional beef bourguignon prepared by our chef! And if you have forgotten the wine, we propose the Cuvées de l’Epervière to take away to accompany your meal…

No need to leave the campsite to do your shopping! At the Castel Camping Château de l’Epervière you will find a shop where you can buy everyday products such as water, milk, butter, shampoo, toothpaste, but also fresh fruit and vegetables or a selection of regional products such as Burgundy wines and beers, mustards and terrines. You will also find fresh bread and croissants for your breakfast at the campsite.

Since 2022, the Castel Camping Château de l’Epervière has a mini-farm with a few goats and chicken. Children will be happy to come and meet them and stroke them through the fence.

Burgundy campsite Château de l’Epervière is a campsite that is very popular with families. During high season, every morning from Monday to Saturday, the kids’ club will delight the youngest. They will make new friends during creative workshops or outdoor games. The kids will also appreciate the playground located on the large grassy field in the heart of the campsite.

Castel Camping le Château de l’Epervière has a multi-sports field where everyone can come and play football, volleyball or basketball. Ideal for a active holiday on a campsite in Burgundy.

Three times a week, the Bourgogne Château de l’Epervière campsite opens its cellar for free wine tasting sessions, organised by winegrowers of Southern Burgundy and Beaujolais and by the campsite. From mid-May to mid-September, they will share their passion for wines and will make you taste their finest wines.

At the reception of the Château de l’Epervière, you can rent bicycles to go for a ride through southern Burgundy. Around the campsite you will find a cycling path which links Chalon-sur-Saône and Mâcon along the river Saône. This cycling path is only 500 metres from the campsite.

In the wooded park of the Château de l’Epervière you will find a fishing pond. Here you can enjoy no-kill fishing, alone or with your family. A very pleasant way to relax during your holiday in Southern Burgundy.
