The Roche de Solutré at 60 km from the campsite le Château de l’Epervière

The Solutré rock stands proudly among the undulating landscapes of the Mâconnais. Its stone silhouette stands out from the expanse of vines. A pathway allows you to easily reach its summit from where you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of southern Burgundy and the Beaujolais mountains. Solutré is also a major archaeological site. Traces of human habitation dating back 57,000 years can be found here. You can visit its interpretation centre to learn about the lives of our ancestors. The Roche de Solutré is situated some 60 kilometres from the campsite Château de l’Epervière.
